The KMC21 is not a generic controller adapted for these machines. It was designed from the ground up to work with Mayer & CIE and Terrot circular knitting machines. The 270x210mm panel fits the standard cutout, uses the same wiring, and connects with the same plugs.
Accident prevention auto-stops the machine if push buttons malfunction. IRO short-circuit protection prevents panel damage from wiring faults. Non-volatile memory saves all production data, shift counters, and speed settings during power failures. A/B/C shift counters track production across three shifts.
